Sailor Mikan Tsumiki

This whole costume was inspired by a video geared towards the SDR2 fandom. They took the Sailor Moon theme and used characters from SDR2. Mikan ended up being the equivalent to Sailor Saturn so her costume is closely based on it. I would have had a needle staff however I was only allowed to bring 1 suitcase to this convention and only had a week left to work on anything. I didn't get many photos taken in this costume either no one appreciates a decent Sailor outfit or they kept guessing I was Saturn. So much for crossovers... I'm waiting to get back a really nice photo I took with a photographer waiting for the fashion show. I'm not sure if I'll wear this costume again. I did style the wig by myself by using an arda wig and using wefts for Mikan's hair chunks. Sadly I don't think Arda Wigs will share my picture I posted to their wall. This costume was a lot of work despite my friend making most of the costume. Perhaps I will bring it back next year with a needle staff and a different wig since this one caused me a lot of pain wearing it.
